Heritage Guild Works strives to connect students with community organizations and historic sites in an effort to engage youth in history. We provide an opportunity for students to receive hands-on, experiential mentoring and education by restoring and preserving monuments and markers. We also work with teachers, schools, and libraries to integrate these activities into new or existing curricula and to help students better understand the history they are helping to preserve. Our flexible program can be adjusted for groups of any size and students of any age, and our activities re relevant to a wide variety of humanities, social science, and STEM classes. This project works with veterans and community members of all ages.
